About our League:
The 2026 Syracuse Collegiate Baseball League (SCBL), powered by Salt City Sports, is an 18-game scheduled collegiate baseball league. All the games are 9 innings and are played on Tuesday and Thursday nights in June/July 2026. The SCBL is not your normal college baseball league. Our main goal is to provide a competitive league that allows each player to work during the day, take summer classes or to give you the time to work out 5 days per week to get bigger, stronger and faster for your fall college season!! This is our 9th year of running this league (formerly Empire State Collegiate League)
Benefits of the Syracuse Collegiate Basebal League:
- Playing Time – we will bat entire lineups and even out at bats during the season
- Roster Sizes are limited to 15 position players and 6 pitchers only
- Opportunities to work and still play competitive baseball
- Half the schedule of a normal full collegiate league with more than half the cost savings. Full 35-42 game leagues cost from $1,895-$2,495 with 40-man rosters.
- Late night game times allow players to work during the day and early evening.
- Camp opportunities to work
- Play at Carrier Park, in East Syracuse, 2 fully sized turf lighted fields
- Jersey and Hats provided (each player wears their own WHITE pants.
- Access to batting cages at Sports Zone during the season per posted hours
- All stats posted on Game Changer
- All games live streamed with Game Changer
- All games will end by 11pm (drop dead) except playoffs. Therefore, to ensure speed of play, the following will occur:
- 2 minutes in between innings
- 20 seconds pitch clock
- 5 runs per inning max (except in playoffs)
- No new inning will start after 10:50pm
- Games do end in ties (3 points for winning, 1 point for a tie, 0 points for a loss)

Tuesday(s): June 2,9,16,23,30. July 7,14,21, 28. August 4- Playoffs
Thursday(s): June 4,11,18,25, July 2,9,16, 23, 30. August 6- Playoffs
